Balamku means home of the jaguar. This magnificent animal was sacred to the Mayans as it was the bearer of the sun during its nightly journey through the underworld. Preserving myths and culture is as important to us as preserving nature.

Offering stunning views of the Caribbean Sea, Balamku Inn on the Beach is located on the Costa Maya, only 5.7 km south of Mahahual. It features charming bungalows with terraces overlooking the sea.

Each spacious bungalow offers 1 double and 1 single bed, a seating area and a private bathroom. Some rooms feature a traditional palapa style roof.

Balamku Inn features bar and a restaurant, which serves a variety of sandwiches, soups, tacos and quesadillas.
